The nearest airport is the "G. Marconi" in Bologna, about 45 km far.
You can take one of the shuttles that drive to the Bologna railway station and from there take one of the several trains in to Ferrara.
Who prefers car rental, has to drive the ringway and take the A13 in direction Padua , exit Ferrara South.

Ferrara’s stop is on the line Bologna - Venice; from both cities a train is leaving every hour.

By bus: Bus n. 8, stop "barriera Cavour" to about 200 mt from the station in center direction; get off in via del Campo and walk for other 200 mt on via Fabbri.

From the motorway A13 Bologna - Padua, take the exit Ferrara South; follow the indications for the center of Ferrara. Drive on Via Bologna for about 2 km up to a roundabout where, on the right, you find commercial center "Il Castello". Turn on the right and follow via Wagner for about 800 mt; at the roundabout turn on the left in via Fabbri and after about 300 mt on the left you find Il Cenacolo.
The entry is in common with the Sanctuary of the Crucifix.
